We expect the best, we teach the best, and we grow the best!  Everyone who steps through our doors—staff, students and parents—are excited to be here.  This mindset enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun and nurturing environment.

From the Assistant Principal - Dr. Renner

Hello my name is Dr. Emily Renner, and I am joining the Jenny Lind community as the Assistant Principal this year. I have been with Minneapolis Public Schools since 2011. Each position I have held has deepened my passion for education and my commitment to creating a welcoming and nurturing environment for our scholars and staff.

I truly believe that when we work together—scholars, families, and the community—we can achieve great things! I’m looking forward to another fantastic year of learning, growing, and celebrating our scholars’ successes. Let’s make this year special together!
